The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade of Beheira Governorate has launched a massive campaign, led by Mohamed Abdel-Al, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, to monitor commercial activities and factories in centers and towns of the governorate.

To ensure that support reaches those who deserve it and is not smuggled into the black market, and to take all necessary legal action against offenders, the campaign was run in partnership with the centre’s procurement department of Damanhour, under the supervision of Farhat Brik, head of commercial control, led by Karim Haroun, accompanied by Mustafa Freij, inspectors and judicial police officers.

This resulted in the seizure of 4 tons of fodder inside a factory of unknown origin before putting it on the market, and 4 tons of bran were seized inside a fodder store of unknown origin and the owner did not keep documents indicating its origin.

The action also seized an unlicensed gas station whose owner had illegally collected diesel fuel. The seized items were seized and the necessary reports were drawn up to be presented to the competent public prosecutor’s office for disposal.
