The minister also inspected the project to modernize and increase the efficiency of the University Oncology Center, which is built on an area of ​​8,000 square meters. Dr. Ayman Ashour inspected the university’s outpatient clinics and medical teaching building, built on an area of ​​20,000 square meters and consisting of a ground floor and 8 secondary floors, and includes 48 clinics , two radiology rooms, 10 stands with a capacity of 100 people, 12 anatomy rooms and 8 rooms for resting the organs of medical personnel, and the cost of the project is 383 million pounds.

The minister followed the progress of the executive works of the general construction project of the emergency and oncology hospital and outpatient clinics, which includes fences, gates, electrical cables, tanks, sinks and fire tanks. The cost of the project is rising. at 375 million pounds.

The Minister inspected the building of the College of Artificial Intelligence, which is being constructed on an area of ​​2,100 square meters, and consists of a ground floor and 6 recurring floors. The building includes (administrative offices, a VIP room, teaching rooms). , auditoriums, laboratories, faculty rooms, a library and a games room.) Sports halls, student exhibition halls, a counseling center and warehouses. The cost of the project is 290 million pounds.

The minister also inspected the auditorium building and the electronic examination building. The electronic examination building consists of a ground floor and 4 secondary floors and contains 10 auditoriums with a capacity of 400 students per auditorium and 5 auditoriums with a capacity of 600 students per auditorium. The minister praised the regular progress of executive work, which takes place according to predetermined schedules, stressing that part of it could enter the presidential inauguration system in the coming period, given that it is about one of the national projects being completed during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sissi, President of the Republic, to provide its education, research and health services, which will have the desired impact on the development of the educational process at the university.

The minister appreciated the tangible achievements recorded by Kafrelsheikh University at all levels, whether in academic, research, health and service fields, stressing that political leaders pay great attention to public universities, to be able to fulfill their academic mission, through expansion in the specializations and areas required for the labor market and the offering of modern study programs, in line with the demands of the labor market.
