FIFA sets the dates of 3 new Arab Cup tournaments… and the location of their hosting

Shoot – The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has set the dates for 3 new Arab Cup tournaments and the location of their holding.

The Arab Cup Championship has been held 12 times in its history, since 1963 until the last edition in Qatar in 2021.

But only the last edition of the tournament was under the supervision of FIFA.

It looks like there will be 3 additional versions under FIFA supervision over the next few years.

The Iraqi national team has the most titles in the tournament, having won the title in 4 editions, and Saudi Arabia comes in second with two titles.

The last edition in Qatar saw the Algerian national team crowned champions after beating Tunisia, with Qatar securing third place.

According to the Al-Ekhbariya satellite channel, FIFA has set the years 2025, 2029 and 2033 to organize three editions of the tournament.

The famous channel indicated that the three editions of the tournament would also take place in the State of Qatar, without specifying the start and end dates of the tournament.

Thus, Qatar will have reached fifth place by 2033, having already hosted the tournament in 1998.
