Israel’s public broadcaster said Tuesday that U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan was disappointed after a series of meetings he had yesterday Monday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and senior Israeli officials.

The commission attributed to a source familiar with the matter that Sullivan believes there is no strategy on Netanyahu’s part to end the war.

Sullivan left Israel yesterday after a series of meetings with senior Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Galant, War Minister Benny Gantz, Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy and d other officials. A number of issues were put on the table for discussion, including “Rafah” and the prisoner exchange agreement, among other issues in the region.

The commission said the big question worrying the US administration is “the aftermath of the war” in Gaza and whether Israel has a strategy to end the war.

The Commission indicated that the US administration wanted to continue negotiations on this issue, because Washington believes that only the formulation of such a strategy would lead to a “complete victory” over the Hamas movement.
