Israeli raid near Nuseirat camp in central Gaza Strip

Israeli occupying forces recently launched an airstrike near the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, Cairo News Channel reported recently in its urgent news report.

According to the channel, dozens of Palestinians were suffocated during clashes with occupying forces in the town of Idhna and the village of Tabqa, in the town of Dura, in the West Bank Hebron governorate.

It should be noted that the Israeli occupation army claimed yesterday Saturday to have killed a leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, who would be responsible for the logistics in Rafah of the group allied to the Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas.

The statement said that the attack, which was part of the airstrikes, took place east of Rafah, adding that the Israeli occupation army continues its operations in the city located in the south of the Gaza Strip as well as ‘in the center and north of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation army claimed that during these airstrikes, Israeli forces also destroyed weapons depots and missile sites belonging to the Islamists.

Violent fighting has been taking place for several days in the Jabalia refugee camp, north of Gaza.

Israeli soldiers killed several militants in armed clashes over the past 24 hours, the army said Saturday morning, and also destroyed several tunnel openings and a missile site.

According to Palestinian reports, Israeli attacks in Jabalia have cost many civilian lives.

At least 15 people were killed and 30 others injured when Israeli tanks opened fire on the entrance to a shelter, the Palestinian Wafa news agency wrote on Saturday, and the report could not be verified independently.
