Officially | A “historic record”: Manchester City wins the English Premier League title… and an honorable victory for Arsenal

Shoot – Manchester City’s first football team won the English Premier League title again after a long marathon with Arsenal.

Manchester City, under the leadership of coach Pep Guardiola, managed to win the thirty-eighth and final match against West Ham with a score of 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens needed to win to clinch the fourth title in a row, a feat no team had ever achieved before in England after playing all their matches and drawing level with Arsenal.

Phil Foden, the best player in the league this season, scored two goals for Manchester City in the second and 18th minutes of the first half.

Mohamed Quddus reduced the deficit for the visitors in the 42nd minute before the end of the first half.

In the second half, Rodri managed to secure the result with a third goal for the hosts in the 59th minute.

Manchester City finished the season at the top of the English Premier League with 91 points, two points ahead of runners-up Arsenal.

Arsenal secure honorable victory over Everton in English Premier League

The Citizen’s result had an impact on the match between Arsenal and Everton, which took place at the Emirates Stadium.

Any hopes of Arsenal of winning the title ended once Manchester City took the lead.

Arsenal are almost tied with guest Everton, 1-1.

Everton took the lead through Idrissa Gueye in the 40th minute of the first half.

Takehiro Tomiyasu equalized for Arsenal after just 3 minutes.

But Kai Havertz snatched the match points from the Gunners with a goal in the 89th minute.

Arsenal finished the tournament in second place with 89 points and were content with qualification for the Champions League.
